Scissor lifts provide a safe and stable work platform that can be raised straight up vertically to working heights typically between 4 to 15 metres. Compact dimensions allow scissor lifts to access confined spaces other access equipment can’t reach.
We offer electric and rough terrain diesel scissor lifts with working platforms from 0.7m x 1.2m up to 2.3m x 0.9m in size. Scissor lifts work perfectly for short term facilities maintenance, events, indoor refurb projects and outdoor construction activities needing access up to 11 metres high.
Also known as boom lifts, cherry pickers feature an articulating arm (boom) with a platform basket attached to the end for lifting personnel up and over obstacles. This makes them ideal for working at height with extra horizontal reach such as pruning trees, painting exteriors, and conducting elevated repairs.
TAG Forklifts supplies self-propelled 4x4 rough terrain and van-mounted cherry pickers from industry leaders like JLG. Working heights range from 10 to 28 metres with horizontal reaches from 5 to 22 metres. We offer both electric and diesel cherry picker options.
Beyond scissor lifts and cherry pickers, we provide telehandlers, tracked access platforms and low-level access equipment. This includes compact scissor lifts, van mount lifts, podium steps and ladder lifts. Together, these speciality access platforms enable you to work safely and efficiently across diverse environments and terrains at height.
In addition to rental units, TAG Forklifts supplies new and used access platforms for purchase. We refurbish pre-owned cherry pickers, scissor lifts and other aerial platforms to original specifications before sale.
Buying your own access equipment makes sense if you require frequent long-term access for ongoing projects. We help businesses find the right aerial work platform to match their operational requirements and budgets.
