B1 forklifts typically include counterbalance lift trucks, up to and including 5 tonnes.
B1 forklifts can be found in both warehouse and construction environments, moving freight, construction waste and stock.
Reach trucks are typically used in warehouses, as they can manoeuvre through tight spaces and around corners. They’re also ideal for warehouses due to their ability to lift heavy loads directly upwards, making them perfect for racking and storage systems.
B2 counterbalance forklifts are used when the weight capacity of the load exceeds 5 tonnes, but is less than 10 tonnes.
These trucks are often used on construction sites and in warehouses.
Pivot steer forklifts, such as Aisle Master, are best seen as a combination of both counterbalance and reach trucks. They use an articulated system which means that can be steered 180-degrees, allowing easy access to racking systems and external lifting.
